9 Quickest Ever Premier League Hat-Tricks After Mane's Southampton Treble

3. Gabriel Agbonlahor: Seven Minutes (For Aston Villa v Manchester City) 17/08/2008

Seeing Aston Villa beat Manchester City 4-1 today would be almost unbelievable having witnessed completely opposing fortunes for both sides. Then again, exactly that happened in August 2008 thanks largely to a seven minute Gabriel Agbonlahor hat-trick at Villa Park, the third fastest in Premier League history. It must seem like a long time ago for Aston Villa fans, but they once challenged at the other end of the table. Under Martin O'Neill, the Villans took part in the UEFA Cup and finish sixth in the Premier League and 12 league goals, three of which came in this game, saw Agbonlahor become the top league goalscorer. Despite this heavy defeat, Manchester City finished the season in 10th place, though the campaign will be remembered for the takeover from Sheikh Mansour, making the Citizens the richest club in world football.
