One of Hasenhuttl's most impressive spells was at German side FC Ingolstadt, where he took them from the bottom of 2. Bundesliga to a ninth-place finish in 2013-14. And the Austrian built on this by guiding the club to the Bundesliga for the first time in their history the following 2014-15 season, ending up as champions in the process.

However he has really come to prominence with his exciting exploits at RB Leipzig this season. Hasenhuttl has developed a side with an emphasis on youth and a style not too dissimilar from Jurgen Klopp's gegenpressing. Add to the fact Die Bullen are a newly-promoted team who are second in the league and mounting a serious title challenge to the usually indomitable Bayern Munich and his ability as a coach should be pretty eye-catching.
