Santi Cazorla: Scored with his second bite of the cherry. Industrious and busy throughout, Cazorla could have had more than one, but subbed to a standing ovation and rightly so. 8/10. Olivier Giroud: A good focal point for the pass and move philosophy behind him. Missed two chances which he has been gobbling up recently. 6/10. Subs: Nacho Monreal: Got 20 minutes to see the win out. Gave first Gibbs and then Vermaelen proper protection. 6/10. Thomas Vermaelen: Reduced to a 15 minute cameo at left back by the imperious form of Mertesacker and Koscielny. Must seek a January move. 6/10.
