Now, Cesar could be the next star to leave as the Londoners prepare for life in the Championship next season. Cesar is keen on a switch to the Gunners, who want the 33-year-old to replace Wojciech Szczesny as their No.1 goalkeeper next season. The North Londoners identified Cesar as their top keeper target months ago but have thus far failed to make any headway in bringing the deal anywhere close to completion. But that is expected to change now as Wenger steps up his pursuit. The Frenchman may also go back in for Swansea defender Ashley Williams this summer now that Thomas Vermaelen is set to miss the beginning of the season with a back injury.
