4. Andrei Arshavin
With his family settled in England, its highly likely that the 31-year-old Russian National may look to remain at a Premier League club. However, after not appearing on the Arsenal squad during their Asian tour, it looks likely that it wont be as a fixture of the Emirates Stadium side. His three-and-a-half year tenure at Arsenal began with an excellent performance at Euro 2008, after which Arshavin unfortunately went on a bit of a downward turn, and his career under Arsene Wenger has probably seen more lows than it has highs. That said, a number of Premier League clubs are
apparently keen to sign the 31-year-old; Fulham are thought to be in an excellent position to bag the winger, although hes also being eyed by his former employers Zenit St. Petersburg. Although Arsene Wenger previously broke club records by spending £15m on the Russian, hes reportedly ready to accept a bid of half that to encourage a rapid sale before the transfer window closes until January. Although Fulham are interested in securing a deal here, Zenit St. Petersburg are
reportedly lining up a £10m bid and may well be the most likely candidates to bag Arshavin today.
