Arsenal Transfer News: Stevan Jovetic Told To "Find Bigger Club"

goal.com. The Montenegro forward, who featured against England in their 1-1 draw last night, yesterday admitted he was flattered to have been linked with a move to the Emirates. And Arsene Wenger would clearly relish the idea of Jovetic joining his squad, having seen his team struggle without Robin van Persie, who joined rivals Manchester United last summer. However, Toni believed joining Wenger's side would not be a step up from his current club, and has advised him to join a bigger club if he is to move to the Premier League.

"I tell him to think carefully before leaving Florence, as there is an important project here. "If he has to leave, then make it for a real top club. Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United fit that bill, but Arsenal are not better than Fiorentina."
The Gunners are currently fifth in the Barclay's Premier League, and can give no guarantees to the player that they can offer him Champions League football next season. Fiorentina meanwhile are 4th in Serie A and are just three points adrift of third placed AC Milan, who occupy the last of the three Champions League spots allocated to the top Italian sides. Jovetic has been in superb form for Fiorentina this season, netting 12 goals in 24 Serie A appearances.
