Stevan Jovetic caught the eye last season for Fiorentina scoring 14 goals in 27 Serie A appearances. At 22 years of age and maturing with every passing season, he could be the ideal replacement for Robin Van Persie who expressed his refusal to sign a new deal at the Emirates and could again be one of those Wenger buys of a young talent across Europe who goes on to dominate the Premier League. Jovetic is said to have a £25m release clause in his Fiorentina contract, he might be the ideal solution to the problem, with zero capital outlay needed to secure his signature when Van Persie moves on. He will however face competition from Spurs, who are likely to have as much as £30m to spend from Luka Modrics expected move, and Chelsea, for whom money remains a lesser concern. If Wenger is sell to the best in Van Persie, then he should be willing to go out and buy the best.
