Arsenal Transfers: 10 Players Wenger Must Sign To Secure Title
8. Adrien Rabiot (PSG)
There have been reports online and in the media that Adrian Rabiot's mother (who is also his agent) has already entered talks with Arsenal about their interest in signing her son. At just 20 years of age, his agent and family seem certain to make sure that any prospective move will only aid his development as a player. In the footballer's mind, a change in scenery may be just what he needs. In 2008, Rabiot spent some time at Manchester City, although he rarely featured in first team plans due to his young age. City clearly didn't see much potential in the player, because he was released shortly thereafter. Since then, he has featured as part of a Paris Saint-Germain team that has dominated domestic French football over the past few years. It makes sense to imagine that Arsene Wenger keeps a keen eye on hot young prospects from his native France, and Rabiot is certainly that. £15 million is the figure quoted for the man by the Daily Telegraph, and he surely has a lot of attributes Wenger likes. Better yet, Rabiot knows what winning feels like with PSG, so that could follow on nicely if he were to make the jump to the Emirates Stadium.
