With Englishman Jack Butland agreeing to move to Stoke in January it has long being thought that Begovi would be leaving Stoke City this summer to make way for the youngster, with Arsenal and Liverpool both linked with him at the time. The Bosnian is probably the most under-rated keeper in the Premier League and has excelled in the last few seasons after dislodging Thomas Sørensen from the starting line-up, this season he was rewarded with 3 player of the season awards from the various groups at Stoke City. Again at 26 he still has plenty of years left in him and could prove to be a shrewd investment by Wenger should he decide to.
