Arsenal Transfers: 5 Dream Deadline Deals Wenger Must Make

1. Jackson Martinez

Among Arsenal's shopping list, a striker should be high on the agenda to somewhat take the pressure of Olivier Giroud, who has started this season impressively with goals in the Gunners first three Premier games. With Nicklas Bendtner a peripheral figure and possibly on his way out, coupled with Lukasz Podolski's injury ruling him out for 10 weeks, the striking department bar Giroud is pretty bare. So, a solution probably needs to be sought and a good capture may be of the Colombian striker Jackson Martinez. Scoring an impressive 28 goals in 32 appearances for Porto last season wasn't a bad way to introduce yourself to European football and he has netted twice in two games for the Portuguese outfit so far this season. He is in demand though and Arsenal may have to fight with rivals Liverpool and Tottenham to secure the signature. However, given that two latter clubs have spent heavily in the summer, he may not get the exposure and gametime that he may achieve at the Emirates. So, Arsenal fans, will these deals happen? Will any deal happen before 11pm tomorrow, if so, who do you want? Comment if you have an opinion.
