Arsenal Transfers: 5 Players They Must Sign

2. Jemerson (Monaco)

While Monaco have reportedly made an enquiry to take Shkodran Mustafi to Stade Louis II this summer, Arsenal may want to try and see if they could get Brazilian centre-back Jemerson involved as part of the deal.

The reason that Monaco are looking at Mustafi in the first place is that Jemerson is looking like he'll be leaving the club at some point over the next few weeks - several major European teams sniffing around the player as he gets set to enter the final 12 months of his current contract.

So with Monaco resigned to losing their star centre-half and already showing interest in an Arsenal player, it could be a great deal all round if the Gunners could have Jemerson included in any such deal for Mustafi.

At 26 years of age and with two international caps to his name, Jemerson could well become one of European football's best defenders over the next years - and Arsenal should be putting the feelers out to see if the former Atletico Mineiro stopper would fancy a move to The Emirates.
