Aston Villa Transfers: 10 Goal-Scorers Lambert Should Break His Neck To Buy
2. Britt Assombalonga
He only signed for the Championship side in the summer, but the Congolese born striker has been a revelation in a decidedly ropey Nottingham Forest side. In honesty, if it wasn't for his goals, Stuart Pearce's dismissal from the Forest job might well have come a lot sooner. Forest may now be forced to re-evaluate: they signed Assombalonga as a means to getting into the Premier League - hence the big fee - but that now looks unlikely and if they can score a quick profit on the 22-year-old they might well be tempted to cash in. Villa might not have a lot of money, but investing in a player whose value will only increase and who already has 14 goals this season would make perfect sense.
