Barcelona Transfers: 5 Players They Should Sign This Summer

5. Koke (Atletico Madrid)

Atletico Madrid have arguably been the team of the year in Europe this season. Diego Simeone€™s side find themselves three wins away from a sensational La Liga and Champions League double, an outcome few had predicted at the start of the campaign. At the heartbeat of the Spanish outfit has been Koke, who has drawn interest from all over Europe with some brilliant performances. The midfielder has also earned praise from current Barca star, Xavi, who claimed that the Atleti man would be his successor in the national team. While Xavi undoubtedly has a few more years left for his club side, such a remark is a clear indication that Koke is good enough to step into the Barca side. Blessed with incredible stamina, physicality and technique, Koke really is the complete midfielder. The 22-year-old reportedly has a release clause of £50million, but there is no denying Atletico are in need of funds. The building of their new stadium has left them in debt and as such an offer of around £35million may be enough to land the midfielder.
