Bayern Munich are close to announcing the signature of Shakhtar Donetsk's midfield starlet Douglas Costa for 35 million according to Sport1. The transfer is set to be made official soon with the German broadcaster revealing that the Bundesliga giants have reached verbal agreements with the player. Costa, who is set to sign a four-year-deal with Der FCB, told Sport1: "I have been working for years towards playing at a big club in central Europe and if the opportunity arose, I would be very happy." The attacking midfielder has caught the attention of many top European sides including Manchester United, Chelsea, AC Milan, Barcelona and Monaco. The 24-year-old who is currently representing Brazil at the Copa America is best used down the right hand side and uses his natural dribbling ability to beat defenders and cut inside.
