Bayern Munich Transfers: 5 Players They Must Sign
4. Philippe Coutinho (Barcelona)
According to Spain's SPORT publication, Barcelona are looking to offload Philippe Coutinho this summer.
With the La Liga giants having recently signed Antoine Griezmann, it looks as if the Brazil international is now surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou. For a Bayern Munich side on the hunt for creative forward-thinking players, a move for the former Liverpool player could be a good fit all round.
Those same reports claim that Barca would be happy for Coutinho to leave on a permanent deal or even on a loan arrangement. Where he'd fit in at Bayern, of course, is likely on one of the wide positions or in the hole behind Robert Lewandowski.
At 27 years of age, Coutinho seems to have lost his way at Barcelona. Clearly with a lot still to offer to a team, heading to Bavaria and becoming a focal point of a Bayern Munich team competing to regain their Bundesliga crown could be enough to give a fresh career to the career of the skillful Brazilian.
