Best Uncapped Spurs XI Of The Premier League Era
10. Left Back: Danny Rose
The likes of Christian Ziege, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and even Timothée Atouba, Ben Thatcher and Gilberto all got international caps for Germany, Cameroon, Wales and Brazil respectively, so there's not an awful lot of quality to choose from for the left back berth. As a result, we pick Danny Rose.
Rose has hardly been a prominent figure at White Hart Lane, with last season being the first season he's been a regular first-teamer - thanks largely to the fact that he had no competition.
That said he has kept his space in Spurs first team this season, despite the signing of Ben Davies, and has actually recently received his first England call-up - though he is yet to receive a cap.
Rose is decent at getting forward and he likes to do so, but he is little weak with regards to his defensive duty due to his small size.
His best moment in a Spurs shirt was undoubtedly on his full debut, when he scored a spectacular 25 yard volley in the North London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
