Bolton Sign Chelsea's Gael Kakuta and Liverpool's David Ngog

Wanderers' boss Owen Coyle ties up deals for two young French players...

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has added to his squad with the season-long loan signing of Chelsea's French youth international Gael Kakuta, who he will hope can follow the trend set by Daniel Sturridge last season for young loan players coming in and making a big impact at the club. Kakuta spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham and has been forced to look outside of Chelsea for the opportunity for first team football, and the tricky winger will certainly add some flair to Bolton's attack. Meanwhile Coyle has also added the permanent signing of David Ngog on a three year deal from Liverpool to bolster his attack even further. The striker had fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool, with a mooted move to Sunderland not coming off earlier in the summer, and the impending arrival of Craig Bellamy likely to further push him down the ranks. The French player had joined Liverpool in 2008 from Paris Saint Germain and scored 9 goals for the club in 63 appearances. The deal is said to be worth £4m.
