Brendan Rodgers is New Liverpool Manager
Talksport are of the "understanding" that the appointment of the Swansea boss has been made by the Fenway Sports Group.
Fenway Sports Group has been made. Sky Sources claimed earlier that Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins held a two-hour meeting with Rodgers today and the result is the Swans boss leaving to manage the Anfield club. The impending appointment looks to be a surprise one after Rodgers initially rejected the opportunity to speak to Liverpool about the vacancy last week. The club then moved on to other candidates, speaking to both former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas and even former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez to replace the sacked Kop legend Kenny Dalglish before they seemed to have settled on Wigan manager Roberto Martinez.
