34. Tom Daley
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp2x8Wqa5yQ Sport - Diving He may have only won a Bronze medal at the Olympics, which may make him a surprising addition to this list given the omission of other medalists, but given that the two-time Olympian is only eighteen years old, theres sure to be more to come from diver Tom Daley, provided that fame doesnt go to his head. Other than his medal-winning performance, which memorably saw him thrown into the pool by his team in celebration (in stark contrast to the Chinese diver who finished in second place, who looked sullen and disappointed at his accomplishment), Daley was also victorious in both the individual and synchronised 10m diving events at the years World Diving Series, whilst he also secured victories in the individual 10m event at both the British Championships and the World Junior Diving Championships, the latter of which he remains eligible for due to his age. Having lost his father to a brain tumour in 2011, Daley has done the man proud in 2012 (whatever the Twitter trolls may say), and will likely be a top contender in the next Olympics in Rio, where he will still only be twenty two years old. 33. Mark Selby
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zI2H4XIyRDg Sport - Snooker Snooker differs from most of the other sports on this list in that the physical ability needed is somewhat minimal, and it isnt uncommon to see some players carrying excess baggage. The technical ability required to succeed in the game, however, is second to none, and Mark Selby, nicknamed The Jester From Leicester on the professional circuit, has been one of the games top players in recent years. 2012 was no exception. Despite beginning the ongoing 2012/13 season ranked as the world number one, Selby soon lost his position following an injury that saw him soundly beaten in the opening round of one of the first major ranking tournaments of the season, the Shanghai Masters, despite a victory in a minor competition, the Paul Hunter classic. He came back strongly however, reclaiming his number one spot with a dominant performance at Decembers UK Championship, where he defeated fellow English player Shaun Murphy 10-6 in the final, heading into 2013 as the greatest competitor in his sport once more.
