Cardiff City Transfer News: Solskjaer Brings In United Duo

Premier League basement side Cardiff City have completed the loan signing of Wilfred Zaha and the permanent signing of Fabio Da Silva, both from Manchester United. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to his former club to bring in the pair and both will be looking to make the most of first team football. Zaha has played just twice for United since the arrival of David Moyes, while Fabio has been limited to just cup competitions this season. It is worth noting that Fabio, who's twin brother Rafael is now regarded as an important first team player at Old Trafford, was relegated with Queens Park Rangers last season in a loan spell. He will be hoping he can help avoid that for a second straight season. Zaha was hoping to fight his way into the team at United, but the arrival of Juan Mata has pushed him further down the pecking order and this could be his perfect opportunity to shine at Premier League level. Meanwhile, Bluebirds striker Andreas Cornelius could cut short his career in Wales, with a return to FC Copenhagen likely to be finalised before 11pm.
