Celtic Transfers: 10 Signings To Rebuild The Champions
3. Andrej KramariĀ
Current Club: Rijeka At just 23, the Croatian striker's record of 55 goals is very impressive, especially considering how well he's done for current club Rijeka since signing last year. He had been at Dinamo Zagreb, and enjoyed an impressive loan at Lokomotiva Zagreb - with 20 goals in 44 appearances - but his lack of first team opportunities at Dinamo the following year saw him criticise the club, who responded by transfer listing him. Last term, the former Croatia U21 striker proved what Dinamo are missing, scoring 27 times in 34 appearances for Rijeka, and has started this season with 9 in 5 in the league, attracting interest from West Ham among a host of other clubs. If Celtic could beat his other suitors to the Croat - and it doesn't look like West Ham will follow their interest with a bid now - they would be getting an affordable striker who knows where the goal is. Yes, the level he has scored at isn't the top, but because of his relatively lower asking price, he would be well worth the gamble. And it's not as if the SPL is that much of a step up from the Croatian league in general terms.
