13. Dennis Bergkamp v Bayer Leverkusen 2001/2002
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bm8M7tCD94 Arsenal were looking to gain their second win and draw level on points with Group D leaders Deportivo La Coruña. The Gunners drew their first encounter against Leverkusen 1-1 in Germany and were keen to pile the pressure on Deportivo at top of the group. Arsenal made a flying start to the game and took a very early 2-0 lead. A third followed soon after. The fourth goal was a masterclass in finishing from Dennis Bergkamp. The Dutchman received the ball from French forward Sylvan Wiltord before he weaved and turned players the wrong way before sending a delightful lob over the top of the 'keeper to put the game beyond doubt. This game would end 4-1 to Arsenal but it would be the Germans who would have the final laugh as they made it all the way to the 'Zidane' final.
