Chelsea Transfer News: Eden Hazard Part Of PSG Triple Swoop?

There is more bad news for Chelsea following Tuesday's shock Capital One Cup quarter final exit at Sunderland as Eden Hazard is on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain.

According to the Daily Express, the Ligue 1 heavyweights want to spend big again by recruiting Belgian attacker Hazard as well as French pair Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane.

Hazard, 22, is the Blues' top scorer this term with eight goals and PSG could begin the bidding at £34 million. This interest will not be welcomed by Jose Mourinho, however, as he is worried about the Stamford Bridge attack.

PSG coach Laurent Blanc has turned to Hazard because his team is over-reliant on strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani for goals. He is also tracking Juventus midfielder Pogba and Real Madrid defender Varane because Blaise Matuidi and Zoumana Camara are out of contract at the Parc des Princes this summer.

Attempts by PSG to dominate domestic French football have been challenged by the resurgence of AS Monaco €“ coached by former Blues boss Claudio Ranieri.

Hazard is under contract at Chelsea until 2017 after joining from Lille in 2012. He won the Europa League in his first season at the Bridge last term.
