Chelsea Transfers - 5 Flops Jose Mourinho Has To Ditch This Summer

Jose Mourinho's 'second coming' as Chelsea manager probably did not go quite as well as the so-called 'Special One' might have expected. With much hype surrounding his appointment as the successor to the unpopular Rafael Benitez, this was supposed to be another vintage year for the history of Chelsea football club. Instead, the Blues finished up completely empty handed after being knocked out of all cup competitions and finishing four points behind Premier League champions Manchester City. Another season of disappointment in the league means the Blues have not tasted title glory since 2010 with their wait to once more be crowned champions of England set to stretch into a fifth year. Mourinho once unkindly labelled Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger 'a specialist in failure' but the same can be said of the Portuguese who will have nothing to add to his trophy cabinet this year. Of course, it isn't all his fault - too many individuals have been letting the Blues down in recent months and will be lucky to still call themselves Chelsea players next season. Mourinho could well wield the axe with the transfer window now open and with that in mind, here we take a look at 5 flops he has to ditch this summer.
