Chelsea Transfers: 5 Strikers Mourinho Should Target This Summer

5. Romelu Lukaku

It's bizarre to think that Chelsea may have the answer to their problems shipped off on loan at Everton. Lukaku has impressed in recent years and is ready for the step up. After a successful time at West Brom last campaign, Lukaku has continued to receive plenty of praise after moving to Everton for the season. Although he is due to return to parent club Chelsea when his loan expires there are some concerns as at times he hasn't seemed keen. It was an odd decision to let Lukaku go on-loan again this season but as the campaign has progressed it's begun to look like a really bad choice. Hopefully Chelsea can achieve what they are aiming for this season and persuade Lukaku to stay on at Chelsea. If not, then they will have lost one of the brightest talents in the English game and will undoubtably be made to pay in the future when someone else snaps him up. Though he may not be the big name signing fans crave, he can do the job. Besides, why pay over the odds for a top player when you already have one at your disposal- as long as you give him the chance.
