Cricket World Cup 2015: 10 Dark Horses To Look Out For

1. Adam Milne

Age: 22 Team: New Zealand Who: Young Kiwi speedster Fast-tracked into international cricket as an 18-year-old after turning heads on the New Zealand domestic circuit, Adam Milne (left) is a young man with the ability to bowl fast. Recently clocked at 95.3mph, he is a protege of New Zealand bowling coach Shane Bond; a former player whom he has drawn both flattering and promising comparisons with. Like many young fast-bowlers, Milne has struggled with his fair share injuries but looks to be a strong athlete with the potential to bowl even quicker. He impressed for New Zealand A versus Ireland at the back end of 2014 picking up five wickets, obliterating the Irish tail in the process; dismissing the last four batsmen all clean-bowled. A far from world beating start to the tournament - he took 2-56 versus Sri Lanka in the opening match, went wicketless versus Scotland and was very much second-fiddle to Tim Southee in the recent demolition of the English at Wellington - Adam Milne's time is sure to come.
