James Tomkins: Stuck with Chamakh well, blocked Ward's shot behind. Booked for a cynical foul on Jerome. 5/10. James Collins: Fantastic in the air. Massive block on Puncheon shot at 1-0 down. The best defender in Hammers ranks tonight. 6/10. Razvan Rat: Given few problems by Puncheon and Bannan in open play. Sliced horribly wide when he took a rare stab at goal. Subbed. 5.5/10 Mark Noble: Quiet game from the tenacious midfield player. 5/10. Kevin Nolan: In a deeper-lying berth he still made Hammers tick. Subbed. 6/10. Stewart Downing: Saw a shot deflected over by Delaney. Thought he'd scored second half, but denied by linesman's flag. Worked Speroni with a free kick. It just would not go in for Downing. As good as anyone in a West Ham shirt. 6.5/10. Ravel Morrison: Hit and miss, drew fouls and escaped serious punishment for a spat after the full time whistle. Must control his temperament. 5.5/10. Mohamed Diame: Another fine display out of position in a wide berth. Moved infield for the last half an hour. Over-hit the occasional pass when Allardyce made this change though. 6/10. Carlton Cole: An aerial threat, but not on goal just as a target. Subbed. 5/10. Subs: Joe Cole: Role as impact sub is beginning to suit him. Put in a clever cross that led to one of Downing's chances. 5.5/10. Modibo Maiga: Got into good positions, but can never keep hold of the ball. 5/10.
