Connor Wickham has just come back from injury and was just starting to get his fitness back but may now miss the next three games, if the FA punish him for his elbow on Jan Vertonghen. It looked like a particularly nasty act and if the FA decide that the ref didn't see it, Palace will be without one of their main men again. Since joining Palace, he's already missed eleven games through injury so another three because of a reckless swing of the arm would be disastrous for a club desperately searching for goals. With his lack of goals and the sort of level Palace want to get to, he will need to start showing that he can be trusted or he'll soon find the goodwill he's enjoyed since joining start to evaporate.
