Crystal Palace: 5 Players Tony Pulis Should Sign To Save Eagles From Relegation

When Tony Pulis took on the challenge of coaching Crystal Palace he knew that history was against him.

The Eagles have made it to the Premier League on four previous occasions and every time they have lost their top flight status. Many are understandably sanguine about Palace's chances at the fifth attempt. Pulis takes over with the club joint bottom of the Premier League €“ the Eagles goal difference only keeping Sunderland last. On the other hand he has never been relegated in a managerial career that has taken in all four league divisions of English football. "Everyone expects us to get relegated," Pulis said at his official unveiling. "It will be nice to prove people wrong. I like climbing hills and this will be a tough job but one I will relish. "You do get pigeonholed for things and people say I've not been relegated but I've won promotions and have been very successful." Pulis also pledged to spend in the winter transfer window: "There is an opportunity to wheel and deal. We need to look at January and certainly will." But to who should he look?
