Much of the work Yohan Cabaye has done this season has been in a slightly more withdrawn role. He, alongside James McArthur, has shielded Palace's back four brilliantly this season and Palace have this covered today, with Mile Jedinak and Joe Ledley more than capable of playing that screening role. However, whatever Ledley and Jedinak bring to the party in terms of defensive solidity, they will not be able to replicate Cabaye's ability on the ball. He has made Palace tick this season and Pardew will need to find a way of beating this Chelsea side without his talisman.
