Everton 2-3 West Ham - 6 Things We Learned

4. Lennon For England

Roberto Martinez will no doubt struggle to draw any positives from game where his side squandered a two-goal lead, but the continuous good form of winger Aaron Lennon provides a nugget of consolation. The former Tottenham Hotspur man has now scored fives times in his last seven appearances for Everton, adding pace, width, and a goalscoring threat to their midfield. Martinez has been keen to encourage Lennon to take up scoring positions, and the Spaniard will be delighted at the way he has been linking up with Lukaku of late. There has been talk that the 28-year-old has an outside change of breaking into the England setup in time for Euro 2016, and his latest performances will have caught the eye of Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson.
