Every Current Premier League Club's Biggest Transfer Bust

7. Norwich City - Ricky Van Wolfswinkel

Fans of current Premier League strugglers Norwich City must have thought they had pulled off something of a transfer coup when they signed Dutch international Ricky van Wolfswinkel back in 2013.

The striker was hot off two successful campaigns with Sporting Lisbon and looked set to lead the line for the Canaries as they attempted to maintain their place in the top flight. Everything started brilliantly too, with van Wolfswinkel finding the net on his league debut to secure a point against Everton.

Unfortunately, that goal at Carrow Road would prove to be the Dutchman's sole strike in the Premier League, ultimately being sold to Vitesse for an undisclosed fee in 2016.
