One of the more recent gaffing goalies on this list, Roberto was poised to enjoy success in the Premier League after establishing himself in Greece with Olympiacos, but it just wasn't to be.

After arriving at the London Stadium on a free transfer at the beginning of this season, Roberto was given a chance to make his mark on the club when Hammers first-choice Lukasz Fabianski suffered an injury that ruled him out for two months.

Unfortunately, the Spanish youth international failed to adapt to English football, making a series of basic errors leading to Manuel Pellegrini ultimately preferring reserve stopper David Martin to provide cover in Fabianski's absence.
