F1 2013 Season Finale: 5 Reasons Why The Brazilian Grand Prix Is A Must-See Race

1. Mark Webber€™s Final F1 Grand Prix

Mark Webber Yes you guessed it, another end of an era. With so many things ending this year you would be forgiven for believing Mark Webber€™s exit would go unnoticed. But Mark Webber has been and is one of the big names and faces of Formula 1. Webber announced his retirement from F1 earlier this year, and has confirmed that he will still compete in Motor Racing with the Porsche Le Mans team in 2014. Mark Webber is one of the €˜old guard€™ of F1, having been around since 2002. His first race was memorable for his 5th place finish with regular backmarkers Minardi. His impromptu and unofficial celebrations atop the Australian Grand Prix podium will forever be a highlight of his career. The tall Aussie driver has had a long and successful F1 career, having driven for Jaguar, Williams and Red Bull. He has remained a solid driver throughout, and he will be going out on a high with the world champion winning team of Red Bull. He has had a rivalry with Red Bull team mate Sebastian Vettel since their collision at the 2007 Japanese Grand Prix, and notable incidents have included another collision at the 2010 Turkish Grand Prix and a confrontation with Vettel at this year€™s Malaysian race. Webber and Vettel have been successful as team mates, but the road to success has been a rocky one. With Webber racing his last F1 Grand Prix this weekend, the competition will be fierce, as he tries to end his F1 career on the best high possible, the top step of the podium. The Brazilian Grand Prix the final race of the 2013 F1 season and is broadcast live to UK audiences in High Definition on both BBC 1 and Sky Sports F1. The race gets under way at 4pm UK time, Sunday 24th November. NBC Sports will broadcast the race live to North American viewers.
