It took Sergio Aguero less than a minute to find the back of the net in Manchester City's 5-0 battering of Blackburn mid-week, bad omens for Premier League defences. The Argentinian had been out for a month with injury but banged in a goal with his second touch after coming off the bench to contribute to the routing of Rovers. And Aguero is expected to take a starring role against Cardiff this weekend. Cardiff memorably won this reverse fixture 3-2 when the two sides last met in August, but with City scoring 99 goals in all competitions this season and Aguero back in the side, I can't see a repeat. A lot has changed at Cardiff since then. Malky Mackay is gone and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is at the helm. Solskjaer never won against City in four attempts as a player with Manchester United and I can see his unfortunate record against the Sky Blues extending here. The Bluebirds have only taken one point from their last five games (D1, L4) and, though they have never played City at the Etihad, never won at Maine Road in seven league and cup matches between 1963 and 1985.
