Fantasy Premier League 2018-19: 10 Forwards To Sign
8. Aleksandar Mitrović (Fulham)
Recently transferred to Fulham for £22m after a loan spell with the London club, Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrović could be another shrewd buy for astute fantasy managers. His first season in the Premier League, back in 2015-16, was a reasonably successful one as he notched nine goals and four assists in 34 games for Newcastle.
The goals then dried up a little for the 23-year-old, but he's enjoyed a real renaissance since his switch to Fulham, where he scored 12 times in just 17 Championship games. The Serb's strikes were a big part in helping Fulham get promoted and he seems to have found a team that works well for him. His confidence has enjoyed a big boost and he led the line for his country admirably at the World Cup as well, scoring once against Switzerland.
Handed the number nine shirt, Mitrović will be Fulham's main striker and could develop a lethal partnership with the side's super young winger Ryan Sessegnon. He only costs £6.5m and could be the perfect bargain pick alongside one or two more expensive forwards in your fantasy lineup.
