Fantasy Premier League 2018-19: 10 Forwards To Sign
7. Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United)
Despite his brilliance and scoring record, some fantasy players are a little concerned about including Romelu Lukaku in their squads due to his relatively high price of £11m. There are certainly a few problems surrounding the Belgian, but overall, he still offers too much potential to ignore.
A look back to last season's statistics shows us that Lukaku earned an impressive tally of 162 points in total, but was outperformed by some cheaper players like Jamie Vardy and Roberto Firmino. There's also the fact that Lukaku made it all the way to the semi-finals of the World Cup and could be a little tired in the early weeks of the season. However, in spite of these issues, the Belgian could still be a super selection for your fantasy side.
He started last season exceptionally strongly, netting seven times in his first seven games, and could hit the ground running yet again after enjoying a great World Cup in which he scored four goals. The most important reason to sign Lukaku up is that United haven't brought in any new strikers. They'll be relying on the big Belgian as their primary attacking threat once again, meaning he'll be starting most games and should be involved in a big percentage of United's goals.
