Fantasy Premier League 2018-19: 10 Forwards To Sign
4. Cenk Tosun (Everton)
It's make or break time for Everton. Last summer, the Merseyside club spent huge money but got off to a dreadful start in the Premier League, with manager Ronald Koeman swiftly replaced with Sam Allardyce, who managed to steady the ship for the remainder of the season before being unceremoniously kicked out at the end.
Now, after a tumultuous season of transition, Everton might finally start to gel under new boss Marco Silva, and Cenk Tosun could be one of the squad's top players to watch. Tosun joined the club in January and needed a little time to settle, not scoring his first goal until March.
After that, he started to hit his stride and had scored five Premier League goals in 14 appearances when the season came to a close. Those stats might not sound too impressive, but it's worth bearing in mind that Tosun was playing in difficult conditions as Everton were one of the least creative sides in the entire division.
The 27-year-old Turk should have many more opportunities under Marco Silva, and the stage seems set for him to show Premier League fans what he's made of in the months to come. Everton have one of the easiest starts to the season on paper, so Tosun could be a great pick for your initial squad.
