Fantasy Premier League Tips: 15 Best Cheap Players For 2018-19

6. Tom Cairney (CM - £5m - Fulham)

Or, just stump up the £5m it'll take to make Fulham's Tom Cairney part of your squad.

There's less of a risk with Cairney than there is with Loftus-Cheek. He's almost guaranteed to play week-in-week-out at Craven Cottage, has a clean slate in terms of the Premier League (his only experience at this level came in his early-20s with Hull City in season 2009-2010) and played 34 of Fulham's Championship games last year.

If nothing else, Cairney is perfect for those festive fixture pile ups. Stick him in as backup and you might just be surprised come Christmas. The 27-year old is about to hit his prime, and that could feasibly lead to a move to one of the Prem's more exciting sides.
