Football League Week 2: 5 Teams That Impressed This Weekend

2. Leyton Orient

OrientResult: Leyton Orient 3-0 Shrewsbury Town After last weekends dominant victory over Carlisle it was the turn of Graham Turner€™s Shrewsbury to fall victim to Leyton Orient and their free scoring football. With the scores at 0-0 at half time it seemed as though perhaps last weekends 5-1 score-line may have been a lucky result, however three goals in the second half showed that Orient mean business this year. Shrewsbury fell apart in the second half and Orient took their chances with confidence and style. A brace of diving heads from striker David Mooney gave them a 2-0 lead before an excellent solo run and goal from young winger Moses Odubajo finished off Shrewsbury and sent Orient to the top of League One. Orient could well prove to be the surprise package of League One this year. Russell Slade€™s men have certainly set themselves a high standard and as any Yeovil fan will tell you, anything is possible at this level.
