Paris Saint-Germain fried minds and broke the internet in 2017 when they spent a collective £353 million to sign Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé. The caveat is that Mbappé was on loan for the first season, with the fee occurring the following year. Regardless, it was a massive statement of intent from PSG and made Mbappé the most expensive teenager of all-time.

Mbappé was little more than an exciting prodigy when he moved from Monaco to PSG, leading to a lot of raised eyebrows. However, his inaugural season in Paris was a big success and his turn at the 2018 World Cup showed that he was a hell of an investment. If PSG can hold onto Mbappé for a further five or more years, he will be worth every penny!
