Formula 1 2013 Brazilian Grand Prix – Webber Bows Out In Style

Looking Ahead

Not so much looking ahead now as looking behind; With the 2013 season over, the trophies have been handed out and the covers have slipped onto the last of the V8 engined cars for the last time, ready to gather dust before they find themselves auctioned off to wealthy connections of the teams or into museums for many to stare at, their days of raw competition behind them. Whilst there is much to discuss and potentially look forward to for 2014, such as driver movements and regulation changes, I don't want to do that just yet. Though things won't slow down and the teams are already moving on, we can take some time to consider the 2013 season as we like and let news gradually unfold into the new year. Mark Webber might already be a Porsche driver, but we don't need to discuss how Daniel Ricciardo will fare at Red Bull just yet. Much of the driver news should be settled next month though some will likely spill over into the new year. As 2014 begins we will begin to get an idea of how the teams have taken to the new regulations with initial testing. Until then however, we can let the dust settle on 2013.
