5. Roberto Martinez
After his side were hammered 4-0 by Manchester United at the start of the month, Wigan's Roberto Martinez has helped guide the club slowly but surely out of the relegation zone on goal difference, edging them to safety ahead of the likes of QPR, Reading and Aston Villa. So revered as Martinez as a Premier League manager that he was approached by Liverpool who wanted him to replace Kenny Dalglish at the helm of the club at Anfield back in May, and the Wigan boss was given permission to enter talks but in the end Brendan Rodgers was appointed instead. Martinez' fighting spirit in getting the Latics out of the relegation zone is just what Fulham need right now as they continue their drastic slump toward the bottom three. Source(s):
