With a midweek Champions League clash in Turkey, the Gunners had more to worry about than this weekend's fixture vs Fulham. It was essential for Arsenal to not only win in Turkey, but to win early. Wenger could then rest a few legs for the weekend, namely Walcott and Giroud. But what transpired instead was an early substitution for Laurent Koscielny who suffered a brutal boot to the head, while Giroud and Walcott didn't come off till nearly the end. Whether those two have legs against Fulham will be interesting to see. With a comfy 3-0 lead on aggregate, look for a different squad vs Fenerbahce next Tuesday so Wenger will have his regulars ready to go against Tottenham in week 3.
