Martinez is due a big move. He showed loyalty when turning down Aston Villa last summer, or perhaps it was foresight, but he missed out on the Villa job this time round and despite talking to the Liverpool owners he was never preferred choice at Anfield. The Spaniard has tried to get his sides playing in a way that would please Spurs fans and he certainly shows a broad tactical brain, but would he command the respect of the players?
