How A World Football XI Might Look In 5 Years Time
Centre Midfield - PAUL POGBA
If ever a midfielder was primed to become an absolute superstar of world football, it's Pogba. He has an unbelievable amount of talent in his armoury, and like many players in this team, he is most definitely already among the best in the world in his position. Manchester United made the dreadful decision to sell the Frenchman to Juventus in 2012, despite him being the undisputed star of their youth team- they couldn't guarantee him the regular first-team football he so craved- and since then he has never looked back. The 21-year-old has formed a sensational relationship with Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal in the middle of the park for Juve, in what is surely one of Europe's most complete midfields currently. Pogba is tall, quick, powerful, incredibly skilful, good defensively and has an eye for spectacular. He is the complete footballer, and when he is at his best, he is wonderful to watch. Think Patrick Vieira, but with more natural ability. The France international is well on his way to becoming one of the finest players on the planet, and he can become as good as he wants to be. In five years he could be unstoppable.
