Power. Skill. Pace. Technique. Desire. All the characteristics a manager wants in a top class winger. Luckily for Arsenal fans, David Rocastle, a.k.a 'Rocky', possessed all those traits in abundance. With the way he played football, some fans would swear he was a player from the Arsene Wenger era, but actually he came up under George Graham who created a team that prioritised defending before anything else. Despite this, Rocky still injected tonnes of flair and creativity into the game whenever he played for his boyhood club.

When a lot of older fans think about Rocastle, memorable moments like his outlandish solo run against Middlesbrough when he took the ball from the right wing, danced past five players and smashed the ball off the post or his outstanding goal against Manchester United where he took the ball from his own half, surged past two hapless United defenders who looked as if they couldn't quite comprehend what just happened to them before scoring a delightful chip over Peter Schmeichel of all people. It's safe to say that whenever Rocky scored it was probably going to be an absolute peach of a goal.

Many younger fans probably aren't aware of who Rocastle is and the amount of joy he brought to the club's supporters, which is a tremendous shame. However, for those who got to see him play, they know that the team have yet to have anyone on the right side who
