It has certainly been an entertaining five months under the 'guidance' of John Carver for Newcastle United. If plunging from mid table no man's land into the thick of a Premier League relegation battle wasn't enough for the hearts of the 50,000 that turn up at St James' Park every couple of weeks, then some of the things John Carver said during his weekly press conferences should have been enough to send some of The Magpies followers into cardiac arrest.
