The big defender has been manager of Northern Premier League Division One North league side Lancaster City since April 2013, assisted by former England winger Trevor Sinclair. What a weird world we live in. Lancaster finished 11th in the league after winning just one of their final five games, producing a second half to the season that any modern Newcastle team would have been proud of.
