Sky Sports News (via 101 Greatest Goals) reports that Aston Villa's 22-year old midfield star Jack Grealish is a target for Premier League clubs Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Sky, it's The Foxes who lead the race, and the only thing stopping them may be Villa's £40 million asking price for their prized asset.

Having joined Villa as a six-year old, Grealish worked his way up the ranks, but hasn't always shown the talent to match his potential. Last season however, was a breakthrough campaign for the young Englishman and his efforts helped the club reach the Championship play off final against Fulham.

After stumbling against Fulham at Wembley and missing out on that Premier League promotion, Villa run the risk of violating Financial Fair Play regulations, and that may force their hand to sell Grealish for the right price this summer. Leicester are on the brink of selling Riyad Mahrez to Man City, so they'll be looking for a replacement.
